Detailed Boundary Description

Commencing on the western boundary of the City at the most northern angle of Lot 1 on Plan of Subdivision 406702; thence easterly by a line in continuation of the northern boundary of Lot 1 to the Little Morwell River; thence easterly and north-easterly by that river and further north-easterly by the Morwell river to Middle Creek; thence south-easterly by that creek to Billy Creek; thence easterly by that creek to Monash Way; thence easterly and northerly by Monash Way to Glendonald Road; thence easterly by that road to Northways Road; thence further easterly by the road forming the southern boundary of Lot 2 on Plan of Subdivision 334972 and northerly and easterly by the southern boundary of that lot and Lot 1 to Bennetts Creek, being a point on the western boundary of the Parish of Traralgon; thence northerly by the western boundary of that parish to the Princes Freeway; thence north-easterly by that freeway and the Princes Highway to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot E on Plan of Subdivision 502804; thence southerly by a line, further southerly and easterly by the western and southern boundaries of Lot E and easterly by the road forming the northern boundary of allotment 76X, Parish of Traralgon to Dunbar Road; thence northerly by that road to the road forming the northern boundary of allotment 73; thence easterly by that road, Hunter Road and Landsdowne Road to Stuart Street; thence northerly by that street, a line in continuation and McNairn Road to the Princes Highway; thence westerly by that highway to the Traralgon-Maffra Road; thence northerly by that road the southern boundary of allotment A15A; thence further northerly by the western boundary of the Rail Trail reservation to the Latrobe River; thence easterly by that river to the eastern boundary of the City, and thence easterly, south-westerly and north-westerly by the City boundary to the point of commencement.
